Easy To Charge
Charge the batteries at any standard power socket with the included charger. No need to wait until the battery is empty. Charge it at any time. It takes about 6 hours for a full charge and less for a partial charge. The batteries can be charged while inserted on the chair.

Two 6ah 24V Lithium batteries (total capacity 12ah). A single battery has 144Wh, both batteries combined have 288Wh which makes the batteries compatible for transport with most airlines. Certified safe for air-transport according to UN 38.3. Please confirm with airline and airports first, as some airlines may have different guidelines. Brakes
Intelligent electromagnetic brakes: as soon as the control joystick is not operated, the brakes will stop the electric wheelchair -the brakes can be released using two safety releases on the rear which can be operated from behind by foot, or by hand if the wheelchair occupant reaches back -after the brakes have been released, the wheelchair can be pushed from behind or it can be rolled on the rear wheels when folded. If the wheelchair is occupied, it is recommended to use power assistance (joystick control). Pushing the electric wheelchair from behind is possible, however it is a bit harder as compared to pushing a non-motorized wheelchair.
Joystick Control
The joystick is installed on the right armrest. It can be installed on the left armrest by the user. Plus and minus buttons to adjust top speed. 5 speed levels from very slow to walking speed. ON/OFF button, horn button and battery charge display. With the Joystick Backrest Attachment the chair can be controlled from the back by a carer.

Charger

Leitner Billi electric wheelchair. Totally awesome! – I've recently had to depend on using an electric wheelchair to get around, and after much research I decided I would purchase the Leitner Billi. I've had the wheelchair for about a month, and I absolutely love it. Not only has it given me my independence outside the house back, but also fits through the doorways inside as well. It's quite compact, highly manoeuvrable, and looks awesome. It folds right down and fits easily into the boot of my car. It weighs about 26kg and I can lift it into the boot by myself. It is so easy to drive, you just use the little joystick to direct it, and you can vary the top speed by using the up and down buttons on the little control panel. I regularly go down to the local shop that's a couple of kilometres away and have only had to charge the Billi once in the past month. Folding up the chair is so easy, you just take out the seat cushion, flick a little lever on the back and it practically fold itself up, and is quite compact. If you release the two brake levers on the back wheels, it free-wheels quite easily, and takes no effort to wheel it around by hand. I thoroughly recommend the Leitner Billi, it's really stylish (so many people comment positively on how it looks), it's easy to drive and is really comfortable. I challenge you to find a wheelchair with all these features at a cheaper price. Also a call out to the staff at Leitner Australia, their service is excellent. I was overseas when I ordered the chair and they made sure the chair was delivered on the same day I got back. Emailing them was a breeze, and Lachy who was managing the sale was very knowledgeable, helpful and responded to my emails within a couple of hours of me sending them. I also recommend purchasing the protective cover for the chair when you're transporting it ir not using it. It slips on really easy and completely covers the chair.

This chair is probably the best purchase I have made in a very long time. It’s amazing.
I’ve been able to get out & about with ease.
Only downside is that it’s a little heavy & need two people to lift it out of the boot.
But other than that I just love it.

Love it, good to go down the shop or Bunnings – Got mine late last year for a cruise. It would not pass through the doorway but got permission to leave nearby. It's great. I can walk short distances. This makes it better seing specialist or doctors. I now have a bag which holds shopping and stuff. I rang Leitner and asked about accesories, they said they don't have any, about 2 months later they now have quite a few. Deserves the 5 star rating.
