• Leitner Hayden has one battery. 
• Fully charge the new battery (10Ah, 24V) before its initial use. This brings the battery up to about 90% of its peak performance level.
• Give the battery another full charge of 4-6 hours and operate your wheelchair again, the batteries will now perform at over 90% of their potential.
• After four or five charging cycles, the batteries will top off at 100% charge, it lasts for an extended period.
• Certified safe for air transport under UN 38.3. Please confirm with the airline and airports first, as some airlines may have different guidelines.

• Intelligent electromagnetic brakes: as soon as the control joystick is not operated, the brakes will be automatically operative to stop the electric wheelchair.
• The brakes can be released using two safety releases on the rear, which can be operated from behind by hand if the wheelchair occupant reaches back.
• After the brakes have been released, the wheelchair can be pushed from behind, or it can be rolled on the rear wheels when folded. If the wheelchair is occupied, it is recommended to use power assistance (joystick control) to ensure safe operation. Pushing the electric wheelchair from behind is possible, however it is a bit harder as compared to pushing a non-motorized wheelchair.

• The joystick controller is used to control the chair's movement, including its speed and direction. The joystick control is installed in one armrest, which is connected to the motor and battery on the power box.
• The further you push the joystick from the central position, the faster the wheelchair moves. Whenever you release the joystick lever, it will automatically go back to center, and the brake will be automatically operative to stop the e-wheelchair.
• Plus(+) and Minus (-) buttons to adjust 5 speeds, starting from the steady slowest motion to the speed you feel comfortable riding. Leitner recommends you start at our lowest speed until you can ride the e-wheelchair skilfully.
• Reversing sound can be closed by pressing the button of speed-down (-) button and the horn simultaneously for 3 seconds. If you need to turn it on, please press (+) and horn for 3 seconds.

• Fully assembled: 95cm high x 62.5cm wide x 93cm deep.
• Folded:  77cm high x 41cm wide x 62.5 cm deep with joystick.
• Distance from top of seat cushion to floor: 52cm, without cushion: 45cm.
• Height difference from the top of the seat cushion to the footrest is about 43cm.
• Height of backrest approx. 46cm from the top of the seat cushion to the top of the backrest.

• Turn the footrest upward by 90 degrees
• Push the seat upwards from the center while gently folding the backrest forward until the frame collapses into a compact, portable position.

This is a smart charger that automatically stops charging when the battery is full. Connect the charger to the port beneath the joystick, then plug it into a power outlet.

• A full charge takes approximately 4-6 hours if the battery is completely drained.
• The first charge may take longer as the battery cells balance.
• A partially discharged battery will charge faster.
• If charging exceeds 8 hours without reaching full, stop charging and contact customer support.
• The battery brings 90% of its peak performance level after the first charge.
• The battery will top off at 100% charge after four or five charging cycles.
