Easy To Disassemble
Leitner Riley electric wheelchair disassembles quickly for transport and storage, thanks to its modular design. The seat lifts off easily, followed by the joystick, two footrests and battery pack, which disconnect without tools.

Battery
The wheelchair has one battery. Fully charge new battery (10Ah, 24V) prior to its initaial use. This brings the battery up to about 90% of its peak performance level; Give the battery another full charge of 4-6 hours and operate your wheelchair again, the batteries will now perform at over 90% of their potential; After four or five charging cycles, the batteries will top off at 100% charge, it lasts for an extended period.
Certified safe for air-transport according to UN 38.3. Please confirm with airline and airports first, as some airlines may have different guidelines.
Brakes
- Intelligent electromagnetic brakes: as soon as the control joystick is not operated, the brakes will be automatically operative to stop the electric wheelchair.
- Please observe whether the hand brake works or not
- The brakes can be released using two safety releases on the rear which can be operated from behind by foot, or by hand if the wheelchair occupant reaches back
- After the brakes have been released, the wheelchair can be pushed from behind or it can be rolled on the rear wheels when folded. If the wheelchair is occupied, it is recommended to use power assistance (joystick control). Pushing the electric wheelchair from behind is possible, however it is a bit harder as compared to pushing a non-motorized wheelchair.
Joystick Controller
- The joystick controller is used to control the chair's movement including its speed and drection. The joystick control is installed in one armrest, which is connected with motor and battery on power box.
- The further you push the joystick from central position, the faster the wheelchair moves. Whenever you release the joystick lever, it will automatically go back to center and break will be automatically operative to stop the ewheelchair.
- Plus(+) and Minus (-) buttton to adjust 5 speed, start from steady slowest motion to the speed you feel comfortable to ride. Leitner recommend you set start our lowest speed until you can ride ewheelchair skillfully.
- Reversing sound can be closed by prssing the button of speed-down (-) and horn simultaneously for 3 seconds. If need to turn it on, please press (+) and horn for 3 seconds.

Folding Procedure
- Put the product on flat gound and turn off the power supply
- Turn the foorest upward by 90 degree
- The frame can be folded by pulling up the seat lever from both sides as well as pulling up the two handle straps under the seat cushion (see our manual)

Two anti-tip wheels
The power wheelchair is equipped with anti-tip wheels, which are used to prevent the wheelchair from tipping over in an emergency. The anti-tip wheels of this wheelchair cannot be removed. The wheels are only suitable for flat surface.
Footrests
Please fold the footrest first, then hold the armrest to sit on the wheelchair. Do not get off the wheelchair by stepping on the footrest. Flip-up footrest. clearance from ground 15cm.

Seat Cushion and Backrest
Ergonomic Seat cushion 40cm deep, 44cm wide, 46cm seat high. Distance between insides of armrests 48cm. Seat cushion removable (quick on-off velcro). Cover of seat cushion and back-rest are removable and washable.

Charger
This is a smart charger that automatically stops charging when the battery is full. Connect the charger to the port beneath the joystick, then plug it into a power outlet.
- A full charge takes approximately 4-6 hours if the battery is completely drained.
- The first charge may take longer as the battery cells balance.
- A partially discharged battery will charge faster.
- If charging exceeds 8 hours without reaching full, stop charging and contact customer support.
- The battery brings 90% of its peak performance level after the first charge.
- The battery will top off at 100% charge after four or five charging cycles.

When will my order ship?
Delivery will be made by courier, it usually takes 1-3 business days to dispatch and delivery usually takes 2-14 business days after dispatch. Some remote areas may take longer. Delivery time may vary for different states and can take up to 4 weeks.
